When we’re younger, arts and crafts are a common activity we all did in school and even at home. Then we grow up and most of us rarely do an arts or craft activity. For me personally, I’ve always loved crafts and coloring but now that I’m older I have find myself doing neither.
Arts and crafts don’t have to mean coloring in princess coloring books or finger painting. There are so many different crafts you can do as an adult that aren’t “childish.”

During the beginning of the pandemic, I decided to try out arts and crafts. It gave me something to and it was fun looking up ideas on what to make. The best part was that everything I made was inexpensive and things I enjoyed! Here are three arts and craft ideas that you can do at home:

There are so many adult coloring books out there. Most bookstores carry them as well as Amazon. There are some books filled inspirational quotes, swear words, and there are themed books, such as flowers or animals. There’s a wide variety of coloring books and most of them are inexpensive. Coloring is a great way to reduce anxiety and stress so go buy your coloring book today!

Photo collages have become a very common craft for teenagers and young adults to do. It’s an easy and cute way to hang up pictures in your room. Pictures are usually cheap to print and the only other thing you need to complete the collage is tape. You can make the collage as big or small as you please. This is a great idea for someone looking for some inexpensive room décor.
